Alexa Argerious Rodriguez

Alexa Argerious Rodriguez earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Central Florida in 2003.  While earning her Juris Doctor with a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law from the University of Stetson College of Law in 2007, Alexa interned Chief Circuit Judge Christopher C. Sabella, General Magistrate Sean O. Cadigan, and the Office of the Attorney General.  Ms. Rodriguez was admitted to practice in Florida in September 2007.  Prior to joining Solomon Law Group, Ms. Rodriguez was a child welfare attorney prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases for the State of Florida. Alexa has tried over 100 non-jury trials to verdict dealing with complex dependency and termination of parental rights proceedings and specialized in substance abuse and addiction cases.

Ms. Rodriguez is a frequent guest lecturer for the University of South Florida College of Behavioral and Community Services focusing on substance abuse and mental health stigma and the collaborative relationship between the therapeutic and legal communities.  Alexa’s unique legal experience brings new insight to Solomon Law Group’s family law practice.  In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Rodriguez is active in the community.  She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Federalist Society, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Junior League of Tampa, and Ye Loyal Krewe of Grace O’Malley.
